Adoption
Adoption accounts for a little less than half of the outcomes for foster care cases in the foster care system. Adoption from foster care is always complicated, but has the potential to be beautiful when adoptive families adoptive families strive to make space for the trauma and honor the child’s biological family, whatever that looks like.
At Family Connection, we advocate for reunification when it’s possible and healthy, but we equally support adoption when it is truly the best decision for the child.
