Unity brings Strength

Years ago, when I was a middle school student, my art class did a unit on pottery. We were each tasked with making a small vase on the pottery wheel during that quarter. When my turn came, I struggled to get the hang of working the wheel and shaping the clay at the same time. I fumbled through several tries until finally I found my rhythm. I remember being so excited about finally starting to shape my vase; it slowly began to take form and grow to the size I envisioned. Inter-generational Intentionality

I walked into a large church several years ago and I saw a large directional map that helped each age group find their connecting place within the church. The kids went down the hall to the left and were then divided up into their age group rooms. Older adults went down the hall to the right while teens went to the gym. College students went upstairs but the young adults were gathering in a separate area.

Everyone had their own place.

Blog Kickoff

Four weeks have gone by since our launch date… or maybe I should more accurately say, Four weeks have flown by since our launch date. We are doing this thing called church day in and day out now. Where my days were filled with painting and drywall just a month ago, they are now filled with sermon prep, service planning, relationships, connecting, and conversations. It’s a new season and I am so excited for the new pace, new people, and new possibilities for ministry and connection!
