Over the course of 2021, the TCG team did a study of Springfield’s unsheltered population. We created a survey that provided us with the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience) score of the individual, as well as information on common outcomes for people with high-trauma backgrounds.

The results of this study shed light on the long-term effects of trauma on mind, body, relationships, economic status, education, and criminal history.
