Racial Trauma Virtual Event

Join TCG’s Faith & Trauma Institute with special instructor Ally Henny for a discussion about the effects of racial trauma in faith spaces. Following this presentation, there will be a Q&A panel with Ally and other faith leaders. In the last hour of this online event, guests will be able to choose from four different breakout sessions with panel participants:

  1. Activism as Discipleship: Ally Henny and Emily Hahn

  2. Finding and Creating Safe Faith Spaces for Black Believers: Shurita Thomas Tate and Tracey Wolf

  3. Creating an Anti-Racist culture in predominantly white faith spaces: Phil Snider and Christie Love

  4. Anti-Racism in youth and kids programing: Keke Rover, Holly Madden and Amanda Leach

Faith leaders are encouraged to attend to learn about practical ways to make their churches safe for Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color while honoring their unique trauma.
